Troy Polidori

Hi, I'm Troy Polidori. I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2025. I'm currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in Philosophy at Wingate University in North Carolina. 

My work is mainly in Normative Ethics, Value Theory, and Social and Political Philosophy. My research project involves understanding the nature of tragedy, and exploring how tragedies are uniquely illuminative windows into what matters. I maintain a deep interest in literature and the arts and try to incorporate my love of the broader Humanities into my philosophical work.
